The Bull Hotel

Really nice ,traditional building with lots of quirky areas to sit, eat and drink. Nice area to sit outside the front of the hotel, there was an area at the back but looked like renovations/repairs were going on and was a bit untidy. Our room was ok but we were a bit disappointed - we knew it was going to be small but it was very dark and we were looking out to tiles on a roof ! Well presented ,ok for 1 night and the bed was very comfy. We had an evening meal in one of their restaurants and were very impressed with the quality, choice and price - would thoroughly recommend and the staff were very attentive. No parking on site but ample room on the square outside the front door which was free or there was another free car park up the road.

Excellent, helpful staff, very comfortable bed, super bathroom, everything you could want from an overnight stay.

A lovely hotel. Room was above the restaurant and bar, but this was not an issue. The room itself was beautiful and rustic, but a little quirky. The bed was confortable and the shower was clean and very servicable. There is quite a bit of audible street noise from early in the morning (the hotel is right on the village/town square). It didn't bother me but might be an issue for really light sleepers. Overall, an extremely pleasant stay and very good value for money.

This old coaching Inn is full of history. The staff are amazing and the food is excellent. We have now stayed there three times and all were lovely.

Bar timing was not kept. First night we got food was still being served after 2200, second night told food stopped at 2100. Tried to order food at 2025 told by bar staff ok 5 minutes later he told us they had stopped serving food. Then the bar closed at 2200, and not 2300 like we were told by the front desk.

Lovely room, really well presented. Great evening meal

The breakfast service was siow and the food was only average.On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and an excellent nights sleep.

Lovely hotel, full of character, friendly helpful staff and a great base to explore the Cotswolds.
