Excellent for what we paid, nice staff. Would stay again

Came here to spend 5 days exploring the Cotswolds thought this was a good base but very disappointing The hotel emailed the day before saying not to park outside on Tuesday night due to market day Wednesday yet failed to mention that the hotel was under going paint work which was very strong and that heating in rooms would go off at 10 each night .. this was awful as the weather and room was very cold and we had to ask for heating to be put on and a heater .. work in hotel started at 815 with very loud sanding devices When we tried to talk to someone the staff working asked us to talk to manager , we asked for management to ring us which he did after 24 hours and 2 complaints saying he’d had someone now look at heating We explained that we’d had no heating during the evening for 3 nights and he said sorry My husband spoke to a member of management face to face the day before we were coming home to which we were told they’d reduce our bill by £20 a nights stay Although this was fine it didn’t redeem the inconvenience and coldest we’d gone through Our quilt was changed from a super king to double for no reason as well on the 4th night and we’d been charged on final bill for breakfast @£30 which we didn’t have due to the strong smell of paint around the hotel

No drawers for clothes or hooks for coats. Quire a lot of mould on windows, ceiling and in the bathroom. Bed and bedding very comfy.

Old hotel full of character; log fire needs to be kept going through to the end of the bar closing though.

We had a lovely stay in the Bull, Fairford. Luke and the team couldn’t have been friendlier and more accommodating. The room itself was nice, big and comfortable and clean (booked the junior suite) in a central cotswolds location. Would recommend!

Great hotel fantastic service.

A lovely spacious room. Comfortable bed and furnished appropriately. Nice to enjoy a drink by the fire in the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
