Lovely apartment Easy to access city centre

Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. For a 6 night stay we had to rotate who slept on it to let us all try and get some sleep/not have sore backs Noise - focus from owners on being quiet for neighbours (understandable) but this is not mutually returned. Flat downstairs kept us all up until 11.15pm on the Tuesday night with a film so loud it was like having it on in our own room. Saturday morning their music was so loud it was louder than the tv on in our apartment. Woken up at 630 another couple of mornings with the front door slamming.

Info from the hosts pre-arrival was good with code for front door to block and for the key box for the appartment. The appartment was spacious and the bed comfortable. TV was huge and choice oif channels excellent. Overall apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived (except for comment below). Property is about a 40 min walk from York City Centre and is on a road with a bus route. Quiet location.

Booking info says 'garden view' which is not stricly true and you can only look down onto a paved area for the appartment below - not a lawn or a flower in sight! Disappointed that some of the mugs had tea stains and one of the plates had a bit of dried food on it. As we paid £20 for a cleaning fee, I would have expected everything to have been spotless. There were only 3 dessert spoons available and the appartment is supposed to cater for 4. We stayed for 9 nights, so would have expected a change of towels. Booking info also states there is a sun terrace, which there wasn't and it also states free on-site parking, which is misleading, as the free parking was in the surrounding roads.

It was very convenient in location and very quiet something I really enjoy

There was a couple of issues when it came to residents as we stayed over a weekend you could constantly hear them entering and leaving the property made me quite scared as I thought someone had entered our room by accident

The location was good, the price was ok, the amenities were good and the bathroom and the whole appartment was clean and nice. Most of the time it was easy to find a parking spot close by.

The bathroom fan was a bit noisy and it took a long time to go off. The sheets for the sofa didn't fit, fortunately I got a sheet with me that I used.

I liked that you could walk into the town centre.

Unfortunately for us; the dishes and utensils were unclean and I had to wash before being used.

Nice, classy interior. lots of space which was why, coming from Australia, we were happy to pay a higher price.

little things around the apartment which needed fixing. We left a list of them, so hopefully they have been fixed by now.

Location, clean, quiet and well equipped.

The apartment was very clean, bright and airy. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. The kitchenette was small but modern and surprisingly well equipped once we started to cook. Parking was easy (on-street) and close by and the location was well situated within a couple of miles of the centre of York. Ubers were easy to get within a few minutes and cost about 7 GBP into the city, so reasonable.

My daughter said it was sometimes a little noisy at night - she heard people moving in other apartments - but I didn't notice it.

Probably the best apartment we've stayed in.. Wasn't a thing out of place Very clean and homely. Would definitely recommend..
