Outer entry door was not kept shut by other residents

Really nice quiet residential area, fantastic transport links, into the city centre 10 mins on bus. But we walked a couple of times with the short cut across the train station carpark, 25 minutes stroll. Fab shower and well equipped kitchen. Great smart tv, so our son was happy and really good, WiFi. Contacted one of the owners a couple of times and really quick to answer and checked with us later issue was sorted.

The neighbours seemed a bit nosiy, the flat across were rather loud after 11pm. Also, we came back a couple of times to find the main secure door not locked..

Nice and modern with all the facilities you need for a short break, a short Uber trip into town but could be walked in half an hour, handy we could park right outside the door

The smell of cooking in the communal areas, not terrible but a little offputting

We had a fabulous time in Ye Olde Windmill apartment, very good contact, comfy big bed, everything we needed & very quiet, no road noise. We managed to park easily on the main road near the apartment & you can either walk or get a bus easily into the city. Would definitely recommend & we will be back when we return to York for another visit.

Lovely apartment and in a great location.

Was realy nice and quiet.

The only bad thing was that when we get in apartment it was really cold inside(so we have to wait around 2 hours to get warmer): we had 2 small kids...

Good location, nice flat and generally clean.

Very poor sound insulation. Could hear the chap upstairs talking or watching tele until 2am every night and could hear the other ground floor flat blaring music all day. Crockery and cutlery was dirty.
