The Great Airport Place

DO NOT STAY HERE. I booked a room here thinking it was a no smoking accomodation. The front steps was like an ashtray. Cigarette butts strewn all over the front step, and on the side of the building. This clearly was NOT a no smoking establishment. I attempted to contact someone to let them know that I had concerns, and was unable to reach anyone to speak to. They kept my money inspite of the fact I could not stay there due to the smoking taking place on the premises. When I originally booked, it stated that there would be a FINE for smokers!...this has since been removed off their site!!! When it states No Smoking, then there should be no smoking! They will take your money irregardless, and booking.com did not stand behind me to get my money back either, so avoid booking with them. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Poor customer service from hotel and disappointing stay, would not recommend. Much better for similar price in the same area. Waste of money, you can spend it much better! Rooms are dirty and people unwelcoming.

Shocking! Had trouble getting in with keypad, right on noisy Bath Road, Light fitting hanging out of ceiling in bathroom and shower tap broken. Antenna fitting held into wall with sticky tape. Could not connect to internet.

Firstly, when I booked maps says 5 minutes from airport! LIES!! It's 20 mins from airport which incurred additional charges which I was not prepared for. Secondly, got 'THE HOUSE' it's not a hotel, entered the codes given and got in ok but the place smell so bad I almost puked! Ok, got passed that and entered the room, it was worse than a prison cell, the room was small, bed linen dirty and moldy, blinds were hanging down from window, mould in bathroom and it was absolutely freezing. I messaged the owner at 8:55pm to let them know that I have done everything they suggested to adjust the heat but it still wasn't coming on, they responded to say they will adjust it and should be ok within 8 mins, I waited and waited and waited until 11:55

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT FLEAS. Disgusting, awful place. The room is damp, mouldy and fleas jumping around on the bed. The place is certainly not great. There are much better alternatives close by.

If anyone wants to book this hotel on their price, please don't. They have the most appalling Management and Senior Management, plus their customer service and communication is dreadful. As a Senior Manager myself who has worked for several large Brands of hotels, I have never come across such a poor Managed hotel, or their decisions. I had a booking, but unfortunately my Father died and I had to cancel it, as my travel arrangements had to be changed. Easyjet; no problems, National Express, no problems, This hotel? problem after problem! Booking.com kept sending same generic message back after I spoke to 3 of their customer service team (poor). This hotel? no response on email or phone calls. I eventually managed to contact a customer service member who could not put me through to any Manager or get any Manager to contact me. I did receive an email back after many complaints to say they would still take my money and no refund or voucher as it is their policy. For the death of my Father they still took my money. Greed and appalling Management! Do not use this hotel. A very shameful experience at these times for me and my family!!

This property is more like an air bnb than anything else. It looks like a hiuse from the outside and is on Bath Road, not where goggle takes you! NO PARKING Chinese, Indian and kebab nearby and walkable.

Disgusting company. No flexibility on the fact that the main guest who booked wasn’t over 25 but the extra guest was. Had both IDs but would not be reasonable and accept that the other guest could be made into the main guest and would be happy to sign the T and C document in replacement of the doc sign by the main guest. Attitude on the phone was abhorrent! No care, or flexibility. Rude staff member who only cared about getting me off the phone. They cancelled the booking and have charged me full price. AVOID AVOID AVOID NOT THE KIND OF COMPANY TO GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. What happened to service?
