"Super schöne Unterkunft in Hikkaduwa"

Das Tropical House ist eine wunderschöne Anlage, etwas abseits von der lauten Hauptstraße. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet, mit Liegen und Hängematte auf der Terrasse. Die Anlage wird täglich gepflegt. Das Frühstück war super lecker (Kaffee/Tee, Saft, Ei in verschiedenen Varianten, Pancakes, frisches Obst, Toast und Quark). Das Personal ist auch super lieb, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und die „Hotel-Hunde“ sind wirklich goldig.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln; man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass es zu Fuß etwa 15 Gehminuten an den Strand sind. Wir haben uns deswegen mit dem Tuktuk fahren lassen.

"Ruhiger, dennoch strandnaher "Gem""

Vom ersten Betreten der Anlage fühlt man sich wie "Willkommen im Paradies", sowohl was das Erscheinungsbild als auch den herzlichen Empfang durch Geschäftsführung und Personal anbelangt. Ich bekam unaufgefordert ein kostenloses Upgrade und durfte eine große Suite bewohnen. Auf Sauberkeit wird geachtet, der Pool wird laufend gewartet. Das Frühstück war excellent, gegen Entgelt gibt es sogar einen original Cappucino. Ein wichtiges Kriterium für mich ist die Matratzenqualität: Die beste auf der ganzen Reise! Ein Wiederkommen ist garantiert.

"Beautiful property in Hikkaduwa, all issues resolved quickly by a friendly host"

Great decoration, lots of effort has gone into this property. The facilities of the pool and garden were beautiful even though we couldn’t enjoy it fully. The breakfast was also great, as were the beautiful dogs!

We had a slight issue in our room which the host helpfully solved by moving us. We also had a problem with the hot water, but again the host found a solution to this for us.

"Peace, tranquility and kindness within walking distance of the beach!"

This home was an exceptional find for a family with 2 young kids. Very well looked after and incredibly relaxing. Boutique, tranquil, quite and exceptionally nice hosts. We were treated as part of the family.

"10/10 experience!"

The staff was incredibly kind and caring. The Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. The facilities were 10/10 and the garden is just incredibly cozy and lush. It’s an awesome place for a little getaway!

Eigenlijk alles! Super mooie kamer. Leuk zwembad, top service. Vriendelijk personeel en eigenaren. Lekker rustig na 5 minuten rijden met de tuk tuk vanaf het centrum!

We got a complimentary upgrade which made the stay special. The staff and owner were friending and accommodating to us. The villa was beautiful very tranquil.
