TROPICAL HOUSE Jungleside Villa

Beautiful villa, with beautiful gardens, pool and landscape. The villa is a 5 min Tuk Tuk ride to town and the beach.It is quiet, with many plants to make you feel relaxed. The manager and staff treated us like close friends . The rooms are large, with a great shower and strong WiFi. It is clean and very comfortable. Everyone is there to help you- and make you feel special. My family had a great time.

Lovely location in a beautiful property. The pool was lovely. Tranquil and quiet (apart from a bit of noise from building work nearby). The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good, the sour dough bread was lovely toasted! the rooms were well appointed and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. All in all a lovely stay!

Nothing all was great!

There was a slight problem with my room, however the staff quickly responded by upgrading my booking. All the staff are super friendly and helpful and a special thank you to Mrs Wickramasingha on reception who really was exceptional, going out of her way to help with everything that I needed and ensuring that my stay was perfect. The overall facilities both inside the rooms and outside in the garden and pool were excellent. The property location is very quiet and a short tuktuk ride into the near by town.

Second time we’ve stayed there, this time in the penthouse. Very spacious, well furnished and comfortable.

The safes in both rooms are too high, resulting in me leaving jewellery in there which very fortunately was found and handed in by a lovely, honest Danish lady. Kerstin has been brilliant and has said she will send the jewellery when she goes to Germany in May. I’m really grateful to her for taking the trouble to do this. The safe in my friend’s room was too high for her to reach so she used mine. This is the only criticism I have of the hotel, it was lovely.

This is a beautiful and serene property with the most welcoming and friendly staff especially Tharanga who was always smiling and extremely helpful. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is well appointed. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A tray with tea and coffee was provided on request. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The whole property is beautifully furnished with lots of great artwork. The tropical gardens are exceptional with a large pool with sunbeds, It’s a 15min walk to the beach, restaurants and bars or jump in a tuk tuk. We loved the jungle side setting and watched fruit bats, hummingbirds, and fireflies from our balcony. The owner made us feel very welcome and always took time to say hello and offer assistance.

We loved our stay here. Amazing staff, beautiful gardens and lovely rooms. The property is just out of town and is so peaceful. The owner is lovely and she and her staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Great breakfast and service. Highly recommend

THE most stunning property! The rooms are spacious, well equipped with high quality pieces/linen. The beds are super comfortable. Breakfast is yum, the pool is simply to die for, the grounds are stunning and the staff are exceptional!! We loved everything !! So much so we extended our stay to four days! The owner is an incredible woman too !!
