Lovely stay to rest up after cycling for a whole day! Good food and service! I feel very relaxed here. Great view from the cottage as well!

Très bel endroit, aménagé avec goût et simplicité. Personnel très agréable parlant anglais. Tout est pensé pour les cyclistes. Bon petit déjeuner.

Nous avons choisi les tentes. Elles sont très bien aménagées mais un peu loin des toilettes et des douches.

Our room at WAKKA had an amazing view of the bridge. The staff was amazing. Because it was raining, the staff served us dinner inside our room. The meal was gourmet quality. One of the best meals we had in Japan.

The accommodation was amazing. It had a great view and the bed was really comfortable.

WAKKA is located at a great halfway point along the Shimanami Kaido. We ordered the BBQ which was delicious and a lot of fun. Facilities were clean. The luggage shipping service was a godsend.

We rented the Areano Trailer. Although a small detail (outweighed heavily by all the positives), the door to access the bedroom is really inconveniently located. Specifically, the ladder to get on top of the bunk beds is behind the door, so to access it you have to open the door, walk in, close the door, and walk behind it.

My stay at Wakka was a highlight of my time in Japan. It's a great place to stay while exploring all the nearby islands. I definitely will go back.
