Villa Solvorn

We had the best time at Villa Solvorn! Such a good location that gave you easy walking access to the water. Oskar and his team were so welcoming and helpful! They prepared a great breakfast spread.

Quaint, clean. Beautiful location. Bed and breakfast feel.

Shared bathroom. This isn’t a real negative, but it’s less comfortable than having your own bathroom.

Its beautiful location, the rooms and individuality and uniqueness of the house and its garden, its decor was amazing, and the owner was lovely.

Et fantastisk sted vi gjerne skulle vært lenger. Stille og rolig, vakkert hus og vakker hage, alt tilrettelagt for at vi som gjester skulle ha det bra. Kort gåtur ned ti, stranden. Personlig service. Nydelig frokost

Villa Sølvørn is a quaint, comfortable guesthouse in a gorgeous setting and perfect location in Sølvørn. Oskar is the consummate host! We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Villa and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was the cutest space; our bed were very comfortable with nice bedding. There are two huge, nice shared bathrooms and an additional half-bath for the Villa. Breakfast was bountiful and yummy. Attention to detail at its best; beautifully decorated and so homey. We can't wait for a return visit! Tusen Takk, Oskar!

Nothing! Everything was wonderful!

It's the perfect mix between a small hotel and a proper home. It's just no problems here, treat it like a home. Garden is cosy. Definetely a season-affected area, but our stay in late summer was calm.

Beautiful house outside and inside, cozy, comfortable, clean. Our room has a magnificent view to the sea, from the balcony. Warm welcoming from the owners and staff. Walking distance, 5 minutes, to the ferry for Urnes Starv church.

Villa Solvorn is like a little slice of grandmother chic, at least from our perspective. A gloriously eclectic house in a gingerbread house village. The rooms are spotless. Oskar and his staff are very cordial. You have to be prepared to share a bathroom in the inn but they are all very nice, one with a proper bathtub. It was strangely a bit quiet in late August so we sort of had the place to ourselves. Take the ferry to Urnes to see the see the stave church.

It’s not obvious where to park or how to park in enter the property. Google maps will take you to a the wrong place. Inquire with Oskar in advance.
