Excellent location in the Old City, just down the hill from the amphitheater. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The guesthouse was always kept very clean.

Being a guesthouse, there wasn't 24/7 reception. There was a phone number for emergencies you could use after the staff left at 5:00 pm. I didn't have any problems, though some people may prefer to have someone there all the time. The breakfast was adequate.

Nice location in the old town and close to the pedestrian area. Personalized welcome note. We had a twin room, bed was high for me and the hard side rail/board was a bit uncomfortable. Good breakfast and free wine and cheese in the evening. No elevator, not a problem for us but perhaps for some. Overall decent place.

This is the most beautiful old hotel right in the old city. I had a little trouble finding it as you have to pass through the barriers to get access to the old city. Looking at Google maps, I mistakenly thought access was on the main road. Hristo, the owner, had registered my car details so I was waved through the barrier with no problem. I arrived 15 minutes after the receptionist was supposed to leave but she waited for me. They've gone to a lot of effort to reflect the character of the old city. I was only there one night but will make sure I return as it was beautiful. Don't expect an elevator as it's an old building.

Cute small hotel with 8 rooms in the middle of old Plovdiv. Excellent location, warm friendly and attentive staff. Welcome drinks including home made lemonade on arrival. Complimentary wine and cheese in the evenings. Note this is a small original house with no lift so luggage needs to be taken up the stairs. Very large and clean rooms. Charming and convivial reception/breakfast area Would stay again!
