Hotel Evmolpia

Location was perfect - loved walking around the streets and sites of Old Plovdiv. Breakfast was just what we needed - very fresh, continental style. Wine and cheese available after 4 PM was a lovely touch. Staff very helpful and accomodating.

Wonderful stay! Our accommodation was excellent. The breakfast was beautiful and rich, the service was outstanding and very friendly. Everything was perfectly clean, and the location was truly a dream — peaceful yet close to everything. I highly recommend it!

Great location in Old Town, loved the antique style which was very in keeping with the surroundings. Staff and Hristo the owner went out of their way to be helpful and we really appreciated all the little extra thoughtful touches such as a handwritten personal welcome notice displayed in reception.

The location, the staff and the overall service and condition of this wonderful place make it a must for anyone visiting this amazing city. They go well beyond what you’d expect: a sign with your name greeting you at the door, free umbrella use, great (yet simple) buffet breakfast and gentle and helpful staff who are willing to hail a cab for you (and negotiate the price) and give excellent food and other recommendations (like going to the magnificent Bizantine museum). A must stay!

Nothing to complaint. This place, particularly the staff and service, is something to behold.

Hristo was so welcoming and nice! Rooms Were clean and spacious, the furniture vintage and just pretty!! Was easy to communicate and the welcoming was nothing like I encountered before!

Bed was a bit high and I'm short but was comfy so thats not really a bother. No elevator but we asked and received a low floor

If the could give ten stars, I would. An absolute gem in the middle of “Old Town”. An outstanding service. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and charming little streets with beautiful architecture and history at every corner. We will definitely come back for a longer visit.

Evmolpia was a charming place to stay. It was a beautiful building full of antiques. We were treated like guests, given useful information about Plovdiv, and provided with delicious food and treats.

We should have stayed an extra night!
