Great stay again. Friendly reception, and shown to our room which had been refurbished since we last stayed. Spa was excellent although we did not book any treatments. Evening meal at Club house was nice (we preferred the menu there) with excellent service. Highly recommended and we will visit again

Just got back from this hotel. From checking in to checking out the staff made you feel so welcome. We had the 8 course tasting menu for diinnee on Saturday evening and it was well worth the money. The spa was lovely and the grounds were lovely for walk. Room was very smart and a tv at the end off the bath was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Was calm, clean, lavish and comfortable

Room was stunning. So spacious and beautifully decorated. I think we were in one of the newly refurbished rooms in the New Hall. The staff we encountered and service we received was first class especially from front desk/concierge. Really professional and set the tone for the hotel. Great welcome and first impression. Spa was nice but not as relaxing as could be. The big water jet fountain (purely for display, not something you use as part of the experience) in the middle of the hydropool is really loud and unnecessary in my opinion. It's not on all the time thankfully but you can barely have a conversation over the noise and the music in the tepidarium is barely audible over the noise of the jets and that's in a separate room. Bit of a shame that you couldn't get a drink whilst in the main spa area. There is a bar in the Spa Garden part which staff mentioned but didn't say how we arranged access to. Just that it had to be booked before. Too late by that point. Might be worth mentioning this at check in so people could book access to that area if they wanted. Food and drink prices are bordering on ludicrous. £17.50 for a glass of Champagne. £20 for a glass of Whispering Angel. No starters in the clubhouse under £15... We don't mind spending money on a nice trip but some of the pricing was just silly and put you off spending at all. A bit of a short sighted strategy. 8 diners in the clubhouse. No one in the cocktail bar. No atmosphere in either unfortunately.

Amazing hotel - beautiful room a stunning views- loved it

Lovely Spa, Food disappointing, very limited choice. Our suite didnt match 5 star expectations, windowless lounge area was dim & gloomy. Carpets stained. Thoughtful birthday card left for my wife but the Gluten free biscuits were out of date. Doubt we'll be revisiting

Excellent stay at Rockcliffe hall, from start to finish. Polite and friendly staff. Clubhouse evening meal was gorgeous, service excellent. Cocktails in hotel were lovely and service very good. Room outstanding and view was great. Checkout was quick and excellent staff. Spa was professional experience and recommend to all.

This place is a HUGE hidden gem! From start to finish, the service, staff, spa, value for money, everything was fantastic! We have stayed in many many hotels in the UK and this hotel has to be our favourite. The secret garden spa for an extra £25pp is worth every penny! We stayed in Tiplady 4 and it was perfect sitting outside as it was south facing so ordered a bottle of wine and nibbles before going to Nu Sana for an evening meal. Nu Sana food was brilliant and we had breakfast in the orangery. Highly recommend this place. We will be returning without a doubt

Had a great time in beautiful surroundings.The spa treatment was fantastic,food was great,staff were first class.Definitely going back.

My husband saved hard to surprise me with a one night stay , I enjoyed it but I do think that a 3 course meal should be included in the price , so I’m afraid we will not be returning J.Holmes
