Breakfast was good. One bed in my rooms was broken. The shower drips on the metal very loudly about 20 minutes after finishing a shower.

So good

The property is well maintained and the staff are kind and respectful.

The hotel room and corridor my room was in smelled as if the carpet or walls were mildewed.

The hotel was nice and clean.

The breakfast was not cooked properly. It was also confusing about the time scheduled for breakfast. The front desk stated breakfast was over at 9:30 on Saturday. The staff person preparing the breakfast told me that breakfast was over at 9am on Saturday. She was not putting more food out and started cleaning up. On Sunday the breakfast was not prepared properly.

The stay was good but the tv was not operational. They are replacing several tvs. They were unable to give us another room and could not fix the tv. The representative at the desk said that we would probably get Bonvoy credits but I’d rather get a discount on this or a future stay.

I employee several folks that are service related jobs, so I understand the importance of having a friendly fave and personality when dealing with the public. That said, I never leave reviews, but felt it necessary today. I walked to my car this morning to put my luggage in the car and then returned to the hotel for check out. At this particular location, there are two sets of self opening doors. As I returned to the building, the first set opened, yet the second door did not. I did not see that I had to use my keycard to have the inner door open. As I’m looking into the hotel and before I could get my keycard located, the front desk clerk went into a shout rage at me about the fact I needed to use my keycard to re enter. The lobby has other paying customers there, along with the near by breakfast area. Everyone could hear her shouting at me. As I re entered, she continued her rant. One of the customers that was eating breakfast commented to me that “she chewed me out yesterday “. Again, I never leave reviews. This incident rose to the level to say something. Not sure what this lady needs to do to earn a living, but behind the counter at a Fairfield inn is not the place she needs to be.
