Very dirty

Once I finally got through to a real person on the phone (there is no staff at the location) and told them about the mould in the bathroom, they gave us another room for the following night. The lady on the phone was polite.

There is no staff at the location. You are supposed to do everything online. Unfortunately, the online system did not work. We had no access code for the door to get into the house. I tried calling several times and kept getting cut off by the automated system. Once we got inside, our first impression was that of neglect. The carpet on the stairs is so worn, the wood shows through. It is also very stained. The bathroom had a very mouldy smell. It is not healthy to breathe in mould spores. The beds were uncomfortable. We could feel the springs in the mattress. We were given another room for the second night. The beds were a little better but far from comfortable. The guest information booklet provided is out of date.

The Wi-Fi facilities were sub-standard. The host intends to review the setup

Ideal location for hospital

The room decor was very dated it and a large mark on the wall where the previous bed head board had been, it was clean but was mouldy and wallpaper was peeling, the blinds were dirty, the carpet was very marked and the wardrobe was wedged with cardboard under it to stop it moving, the toilet didn’t flush I had to take the lid off to flush it.

Nice location with easy bus access.
