Clean, great location but bathroom was really small.

Bathroom is extremely small. The shower has no water pressure and the shower floor gets very slippery. There was also hair in one of the glasses. That being said, the location is wonderful. Staff, including Valet were also wonderful.

Location was great. Hotel was clean, aesthetically cool, comfortable. Guisto was excellent. Staff super helpful and friendly. Loved the water stations.

It is not obvious on Hammets website or booking.com that parking is for a fee. Booking.com write up states private parking available, but that's it. Once we were charged I went back to look and had to dig to find any info on parking charges. Hammet's website doesn't state at all. That was disappointing.

Great hotel centrally located in the heart of Newport. Highly recommended.

Bottom line up front: This is definitely the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. There was barely 18 inches around the bed, and other than a small built-in sofa bed by the window, that was the only furniture in the room. I might add, there was no closet, merely a hanger that fit maybe three items. I’ve stayed in many NYC and London hotels and this one was smaller than any of those. What made it even worse was we paid almost $400/night….in the dead of winter. Who knows what they charge for this closet in the summer. The positives: The room was clean, staff was friendly, and the location was excellent.
