The hostel is old and cleaning of the public areas should be improved.

Very comfortable... fridge in the room and a big kitchen with all utensils... lovely roof terrace and lovely staff

Very old moorish style hostel. This is a no frills hostel so if you want modern this isn't for you. Cheapest hostel in Lagos

only that it was right in the centre

Since it was right in the centre, i couldnt sleep at night because of all the noise and because the window falls apart. The place is super dirty, there’s people living in the room, the main light doesn’t shit completely off so you need to sleep with the light on. The staff is kind of sketchy, they didn’t accept card, only cash and they didnt give me a receipt, they just put the money straight in their pocket.

Cheap.. But better pay for a better accomodation.. Or else your better to go decathlon and vuy a sleeping bag and go sleep in the beach.. You will sleep better, less bug bites, less bad smells, everything better honestly

Sheets are not changed before new costumers come in.. Beds have bed bugs. No air con.. Moldy and dirty old toilets, shower areas..

I liked the potential of the place, couldn’t help but see the possibilities and wondered why if small steps weren’t made to improve the place

I didn’t like the fact that the pictures were deceiving, I felt like the place could be improved by very simple steps. The bedding was really bad material, a simple cotton white over sheet would have made a difference. The floor was in need of repair and the door wouldn’t shut in the bathroom in a dormitory, not great .

Everything. Dont stay there. The family room was run down and dirty

The staff was kind and watched the door after midnight, making it safe.

I’ve seen three different people on one bed sheets they NEVER changed. I have bites from BEDBUGS. There was MOLD everywhere.. All shower drains BLOCKED. No AC no FAN. People scream and shout until 4 am, you will get NO SLEEP (but in all fairness, its not their fault). I am not being dramatic, this place looks abandonned, it was NEVER CLEANED ever. It is not Portugese owned, rather bengali of indian owned, so the hygiene norms might differ to them, but this was reallyyy bad. This place is a hazard, I bet its dangerous to inhabit, if any authority inspects this place, it will be shut down for public safety. Not worth it. My whole body is itchy, I’m sleep deprived and I think I got sick from the mold. You cant shower there and you cant sleep there, so what is the point?
