Borkum Island is partially car free. Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park. Please note that your credit card will not be charged by this site at any time. Credit card details are only required to secure the booking, and payment is due at the hotel. When you are booking a deal where full pre-payment is required, your credit card will be charged directly by the hotel. Please note that the wellness center is closed until March 2023. Das Hotel liegt super direkt am Bahnhof, zumindest in den Innenhof hinein ist nichts von etwaigem störenden Lärm durch den Bahnverkehr zu hören. Das Frühstückbuffet ist großzügig, die Zimmer etwas altbacken wie oft auf der Insel. Inhaltlich sind die Zimmer in Ordnung und vernünftig groß, wenngleich eine Modernisierung nicht schaden würde. Einen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer habe ich vermisst. Zumindest im meinen Fall mit Tür zu einem anderen Zimmer hörte man den Nachbarn sehr deutlich und störend.
