Hampton Inn Santa Fe South, NM

The free breakfast was great once I figured out that I could put cream cheese and jelly on the biscuits. I was still half asleep when I went down for breakfast.

Clean room, hallway smelled fresh. Good variety for breakfast. Nice lobby.

Pool closed due to shut down from health inspector. When booking verbally asked about pool, was told it was open & hot tub too. Would have never stayed here knowing there was no swimming pool or hot tub available. Family loves to swim. Notice stated it was closed since September. Why so long? Disappointed breakfast is only served until 9:30. Parking is very inconvenient. Had to walk far from parked car to hotel room. Other hotels for same cost are much better. Wont stay here again.

The common areas were well lit and well designed, making for a comfortable stay. My room was clean and bright with a roll down black out shade for sleeping in. There was ample parking available and minimal street noise. Breakfast included hot and cold buffet items that were replenished quickly.

My room was cleaned once during a six night stay. I asked for fresh towels after three days and it was cleaned once during the fourth day. The cleaning itself was not an issue, but having trash removed and fresh towels supplied each day would have been nice. I do realize that hotels have changed cleaning policies since COVID, so it is what it is.

My family was looking forward to swimming and to have pool not available due to maintenance was very disappointing. Staff was ok never felt they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The room coffee condiments were never stocked up. The door to the bathroom was weird.It does not lock. The front person say they don't clean the room, but every three days.And if we needed towels, and we need a request. Just didn't seem up to standard.In other hampton, INN that we've stayed.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and very helpful.

We had reserved our room, and paid ahead. Check-in was very slow. Then we were given the key to a room already occupied. Had to go back to the desk and get keys to the correct room. Breakfast okay, we had to wait for about half of the hot food that was empty.
