Absolutely wonderful - if you want to experience the capsule hotel vibe without being with strangers, this is where you go. We were a family of 5 and we wanted to try capsules, but weren't jazzed with the idea that we'd be surrounded by strangers. (I know, thats the point, but I was working with the many personalities while trip planning okay lol). But then I found this!! You can book the whole building and you get 10 capsules all to yourself in an airBNB style setting. A whole kitchen, two showers, tubs, two toilets, a dining table, a HAMMOCK, and a TV/living room area. For 5 people it was perfect. For 10, it'll be a great base to get to for the night after a day of spelunking. The capsules were clean, the location was somewhat close to a Lawson, and the hosts (father, wife, baby!) Were so incredibly kind. They also ordered a taxi for us in order to get back to the station.

Japan tends to have very firm beds and very thin pillows. So just a heads up in case youre like me who prefers the plushest bed and pillow possible. Also, these are warehouse containers that have been renovated into the apartments. Make sure to turn the AC on and get air circulating, because its going to get hot and when your capsules are closed, it gets hotter. Three of us woke up sometime in the middle of the night sweating bullets and needing to open up the capsule doors just to get some air in. Otherwise, wonderful experience.

Unique, great for group stay, spacious, great view of Mt Fuji, quiet.

Nice if there was a toaster. Microwave is good though.

The cottage fits our family of 8. We had fun staying together, with individual capsule beds. We loved the 2 showers, 3 toilets, and 2 baths for soaking. We absolutely loved watching Mt Fuji where we are, sitting on our sofa at the comfort of the common area. A great sharing space for good friends n family.

More spacious than expected, well designed, container accommodation. Loved the upstairs space for sleeping. It can easily accommodate a small group of people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Very clean.
