AC Hotel by Marriott Scottsdale North

Overall we liked the property especially its location, but hotel needs to heat the pool because it’s too cold to use.

Hard to find hotels that are walking distance in Scottsdale. It’s literally 4 min walk to Kierland Commands and the Quarter. Near shops like Malbon, Wilson, Alo, Lululemon and more. Walking distance from steakhouses like Dominic’s or even fast food like shake shack. Drivable distance from old town and most golf courses. I’m staying here again for sure

Comfortable beds

Most of the sun beds were in the shade all day. Very poor positioning/ location of swimming pool. Hotel charges 25 dollars a day for parking. Only 2 lifts ( shared with hotel staff) so often had to wait

The location of the hotel to food and entertainment. The room was ready early and they gave us a late check our to fit our travel time

I came for a weekend with my friends for a bachelorette celebration. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating to our needs and beyond courteous and kind. The hotel is clean, modern, and so close to so many different restaurants. Thank you Ximena for hosting us! I cannot wait to be back sometime soon!

For the price you pay per night I'd expect more. I have stayed at other AC hotels at and least there was free coffee. This place on the other hand nickels and dimes. The AC won't go below 68 and barely feels like its 69 in the room, which it stayed at the whole night, so yes I guess it worked ok. Overall, the room is fine and the bed comfortable. Understandably, the breakfast is not free (maybe not for the price per night, but the AC brand doesn't do free breakfast), however if you want their "special" cappuccino or espresso that is made with a nespresso pod machine...nope that will be 5 dollars more. The overall offering of breakfast was ok and the open face egg sandwich on toast was really good, but I've seen other AC hotels with a wider selection of food offerings in their buffet. For disclosure and to help others, I titanium member and received a $10 coupon which I applied to the $20 buffet (or you could get points). The coffee was mediocre but at the very least it should be free and would go along way with customers. Now I know why this hotel is rated in the bottom third at Scottsdale.

Nice place, knowledgeable staff

Great hotel, everything is a call or walk away. Very clean, quiet, golf course, plenty of gated parking, very good food & bar atmosphere!!
