Une chambre aux dimensions improbables, les enfants ont eu peur de se perdre ^^. Une piscine immense. Un cadre parfait! Petit déjeuner gargantuesque

This hotel felt enchanted. At the end of a small road in a tiny town next to a lagoon, and with a Maya ruin remnant within hotel grounds. It felt like I was in a Gabriel Garcial Marquez novel in Macondo (yes I do know that one is set in Colombia). I woke up every morning to bird song and tranquility. The hotel did have many shortcomings as well but overall it was probably the most memorable place in my three months in Mexico. Specifics below. Pros: - Excellent location. A short walk to a few restaurants and the entrance to the archeological zone. - Scenic, tranquil and peaceful. - Beautiful well kept grounds and pool. - A tiny Maya ruin within hotel grounds. - Nicely appointed rooms with rustic style decor. - Breakfast for an extra fee. - Mini fridge in the room.

At the time I was staying there they were really short staffed. I think the same two people ran the reception and also cleaned the rooms. Reception/office was often empty. The grounds were very well kept but room cleanliness was unfortunately really poor. I'm not even sure if the bed linens had been changed from the previous guest. I asked to have them changed after the first night. There was dried up toothpaste by the sink. The floor in the room was gritty and in need of a good mopping. FYI and nothing to do with the hotel - make sure to have enough cash for your stay. There's no ATM in Coba that accepts international cards. Restaurants do accept cards but there was a power outage during my stay and all those services were down as well.

Anlage liegt direkt am See. Herrlich, Schöner geht es nicht! Wenn Sie Glück haben, sehen Sie ein Cocodrilo (Krokodil). Pool ebenso herrlich groß.

Freundliches Personal, wunderbares Schwimmbad, tolle Lage.

Dass ein Teil des Hotels behördlich geschlossen war, unser Zimmer nicht gemacht wurde und nicht sauber war, wir in der großen Anlage fast alleine und die Pforte nachts nicht besetzt war. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.
