Mohaka River Farm

Het is misschien even rijden en ook 4 km over een gravel weg maar dan kom je op een mooie open plek aan een rivier en heb je een perfect eigen huisje. (Toilet en warme douche zijn in het toilet gebouw, maar deze zijn prima)

It was a beautiful farm stay but with it raining basically every hour for the full two days we weren't able to experience the amazing surroundings and activities on hand (horse-riding, the river, walks on the farm) As we were travelling from overseas we didn't have enough wet weather gear (that's on us!). The hosts showing some of the farm life was great though! The farm cat also was also a great source of entertainment The beds and bedding especially were incredible - like 5 star hotel quality!

As there is no TV or now real internet connection (except in the shared toilet block), and no board games provided etc there's nothing do for a family with young kids if the weather is bad, except drive the 45mins to Napier. The cabin was a little smaller than expected, again wouldn't have been much issue if the weather wasn't so miserable.

Stunning environment. River, valley, horses, all together turn a staying there in an unique and beautiful experience. Owners are friendly and ready to help in any problem a guests may have. Bedding and towels were also spotlessly clean. We will keep a good memories about this place.
