Blacksmith Old Town Apartments

1. Perfect location, just in the old town with no cars entrance 2. Very spacious apartment with dish washer and coffee maker 3. Very friendly and helpful host 4. Detailed check in instructions 5. Very warm inside despite the the fact the house is very old

1. Chair got broken right under my kid! 2. Wi-Fi is different than stated, needed to ask separately for the details 4. No shampoo/washing gel 5. No sound isolation at all, everything happening outside is heard like being very close, especially during weekend nights (couldn't really sleep during Saturday night) 6. Clothes horse is broken, when you pay 150+ eur/night you expect a bit different service, obvious that furniture is cheap and host doesn't want to spend extra money

Very quaint attic apartment on the 2nd floor (only two flights of not-too-steep stairs to reach the apartment on the top floor) in an ideal central position for Old Town. Reasonably spacious with a nice bathroom that has a compact washing machine. The shower was hot and strong. My clothes dried quickly on the large airer in the efficient heating - they could be packed 24 hours after being laundered. I had to contact the manager once (I didn’t think to try pulling the door open when I arrived because it looked like it had to be pushed to open it) and she was very helpful (and very nice about the fact it was me being over-tired and a bit thick that created the problem with the door). Overall, a really good choice.

Very minor negative points but addressing them would make the experience even better:- •The fake moss wall around the TV is coming to pieces and looks messy. •The kitchen is minimally equipped and would benefit from a microwave and a toaster. •The single comfortable chair and the sole mug in the kitchen cupboard would have caused fights if I’d been staying with someone else. Nothing the owner can do about this but it’s important to bear in mind when booking: because of its central location, there was quite a bit of noise well into the night from the neighbouring bars (but very little sound from the other apartments).

The property is in an excellent location. It was secure, clean and comfortable. The apartment is small but has all the facilities we needed.

The location suited me perfectly: in the Old Town, close to lots of tourist attractions, bars & restaurants, a 24/7 supermarket, plus public transport & a taxi rank. It was always very warm, with underfloor heating in the kitchen/dining area. I loved having a big bath to soak in. Halfway through my stay, after 5 days, the towels & bedlinen were changed and the flat thoroughly cleaned. Katja always responded rapidly to my communications and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests.

It was only sparcely-equipped - nowhere near enough crockery or cutlery to warrant having a dish-washer! Because of the layout and the very narrow street it was in, there was very little natural light, so the lights always had to be on. On Friday & Saturday nights it was noisy until the early hours because of the nearby bars in the street. However, these issues didn't bother me at all."

The location was flawless. You could walk in any direction from the apartment and find yourself at something of interest, with the heart of the Old Town just a minute away, lots of food opportunities and bars only a few steps away.

I personally found the apartment to be a little dark with only one small window and lamps rather than much main lighting.

Large central historic apartment right in the old town. Well-furnished and decorated, spacious and we were allowed to check-in early. Very short walk to several sights.

It was a little cold so we had to crank the heat up momentarily, but the weather outside was cold! Above a pub and next to bars, so clients could be boisterous late into the night especially on weekends, but the sounds are muted. This did not bother us, but I know there are sensitive sleepers out there that could be!

The location is perfect not far from the edge of the old town for easily getting to and from the airport, and close to the old town centre. Very cosy apartment perfect for winter getaway.

Nothing everything was perfect.

Great location, nicely decorated although some of walls needed refurbishing. The apartment itself was good.

The rest of the building needs proper works. As there was a very bad smell on the stairs and entrance of the building.
