Blacksmith Old Town Apartments

Beautifully renovated two-floor apartment in the heart of Tallinn's old town. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The kitchen had all the basic amenities.

Good location In the old town down a pedestrian side alley. Interesting old building. Spacious studio flat with big double bed. Washing machine.

The lights from the bar opposite were on all night & nearby bars very noisy at night. Only one window opened.

Loved the location and cos i was in the attic i couldnt really hear the bar below Shower was powerful and hot Clean, wifi good and owner responded quickly to any problems/queries via email

The spookiest, creepiest place ive ever been and considering i was a solo traveller i had to have some balls to walk those dark flight of stairs at night and past the landing which looked haunted , like some film set for a horror movie. Next day one of the doors was open to the outside and was jammied open as if place had been broken into. Aparantly cleaner had left it open but then it was not locked for 2 days even after pointing it out to owner I was in attic, if there was a fire on the stairs there would be no way of escaping as there are bars on the windows and no fire exit. I had some nightmarish dreams in that place! Wouldnt really describe it as cute and cosy as other reviews but then perhaps i have an overactive imagination. I suppose it did feel truly medieval and an authentic Tallin experience! Dare you to sleep in the attic alone!

The room was extremely spacious and had a washing machine which definitely helped our stay. The host, Katja, was extremely helpful. We had a slight issue with the door code and it was rectified immediately with no problems. The place is right in the middle of old town and walking distance to many other places. Fantastic location.

Only downside is the bar downstairs can be loud depending on which room you're in. Also depending on the room there is a bright sign right outside. Blackout curtains may help that. It didn't bother us but can see how it would bother others. Pros outweighed the cons.

It wasexactly what we expected, perfect for a stay in Old Town, super convenient, and very quit at night

On the weekend it was noisy until late, because of the bars on the same street. But as that was told beforehand it wasn't a problem
