Hostal Cann's House

Nellie was very hospitable. She came to the airport to pick us up, and arranged a couple excursions for us. The coffee and breakfast were good. Breakfast varied but consisted of eggs, bread, a little meat and a bowl of fruit. The location is good, an easy walk, about 4-5 blocks, from the harbor and a beach.

The wifi was so slow that it was all but unusable. When needed, we used wifi at coffee shops and restaurants near the harbor.

The Hostal was beautiful, comfortable and nice breakfasts. The staff, Lucia and Alex were great. Nelly helped with everything.

We loved the place, and not the fault of the owner but the two hyper yappy dogs at the 2 adjacent properties never let up, on top of that all the other dogs continually joined in, made for a restless stay. A shame for such a great place. Personally I think that the dogs on San Cristobal will become one of their main environmental problems.

Excellent location 5 minute walk from all the restaurants. Very quiet and incredibly clean. The host was very knowledgeable of what’s available and she was very willing to tell you all about it. Outstanding Coffee!

The room listing had items that weren’t in the room (refrigerator for example). Recommend you contact the hostal directly to verify what they have and don’t have in the room. No services booklet of any kind to explain things to customer. That would go a long way of preventing multiple trips to see the host to ask basic questions.

Beautiful yard and breakfast spot. Nellie was very sweet and made a delicious and varied breakfast every morning.

Showers were too hot! Nellie does not speak English which was challenging at times, but also fun to work on understanding each other.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The host is lovely and provides information on local attractions and helps organise tours. The breakfast was delicious and rooms spacious and clean.

Everything was very lovely and eclectically decorated. Felt very local and well loved.

Everything was just perfect: located very close to the beach and still calm! The host Nelly is super friendly and very, very organised! Oh, and the breakfast is delicious!
