Hostal Cann's House

Nelly Cann was a fabulous hostess and takes great pride in making sure her guests are comfortable and well looked after.

We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Cann's House. My daughter and I arrived to San Cristobal without any tours planned and Nelly helped us secure two wonderful boat trips using her network, plan another trip to the highlands. It was an unforgettable experience. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and we felt at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it so nice to be immersed with local culture. We speak Spanish, so communication was not a problem.

Amazing location within walking distance of great food options and beaches - Nelly the host is fantastic and always looking to help with great suggestions.

The host, Nelly, is a wonderful person who treated us like we were family. She picked us up from the airport, allowed us to choose our room, reserved our tours, walked with us to the tour agencies to make sure all was good, cooked us breakfast every morning (including vegan items for my partner), and engaged in nice conversations with us. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The property is simple but nicely decorated and with a cozy vibe. About 5 minutes walk from the "center" of the small town, a couple of blocks away from the water.

The noise from stray dogs barking at night was surprisingly loud. But we encountered a similar situation elsewhere in the Galapagos.

The hosts are AMAZING! So friendly and welcoming! Breakfast by Nelly every morning was delicious and a fantastic start to the day.! Accommodations are very nice and comfortable. Quiet at night. The courtyard is perfect to relax and reflect on the day. The location Is to everything you want to do without being in the center of the tourist area. It only takes a few minutes to walk to areas of interest. They can arrange tours or help you plan your agenda. Highly recommend staying here for you visit!!!!
