OYO 583 Sweethome Guest House

They asked for additional 100 bhatt for a day as service charge which we didnt know and their behavior is unfriendly, like if you want accept the service charge you can stay otherwise door is open. It just like a trap as we have booked it already and some amount already deducted from the credit card now you have to accept the property policy.

I was being scammed. After my trip to Bangkok, and my last (one and only night) at this place. They required me to pay when I arrived. But when I got back to Finland, Booking informed that according the Guest House, I never stayed there, and I was charged the room rent again (no free cancellation).

Demanded my Passport as a surety during my stay, I didn't have any other choice at that moment, given my Passport) I booked a room for one night at 2 pm (Check-in) to the next day at 12 noon (check-out), But I checked in the next day at 9 am and informed them as I was going to check out by 12:30 PM on the same day (I stayed hardly 3 hours there, even I booked for a whole night) One Lady at the receptionist accepted my family (total 4, 2 adults + 2 kids) to stay in one room even though we booked a room for 2 persons. while checkout time, One person came (he was claimed as the owner of the property), and started showing and threatening my family as "cheaters, fraud"... and also threatened my family to Give Police Complaints about us for staying with 4 persons in a room. He was not listening to my word even though I am ready to pay extra money for extra personal and extra time (30 min from the actual checkout time, I knew, 1 hour grace period will give even at 5-star Hotels) Meaning that my Passport was given to me by Receptionist silently (hiding from Owner, she knew, the owner is threatening and blackmailing her) . I have not control my sense, once I received my Passport in my hand, started reverse shouting at him, I asked him to call the Police. Why should I be afraid? I did nothing wrong and illegal. After I start insisting he calls the police, changed his tone and demanded 500 TBH for my Kids to stay.. Finally paid 500 extra and came out safely.. After that, my family members were afraid of the total Thailand people and insisted I take back to India immediately.. I spent 5 days there in Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya), everything is good and the people are very helpful and polite except for this bloody SweetHome OYO room. I was supposed to file a police case against him for blackmailing and threatening, but time was not permitted.

Room is dirty, you have to pay 100THB more to this property for their service charge. This is my first experience in life. If you don’t pay you can cancel your booking without refund, and you can’t reached booking.com hotlines then you ended up stay there with paying 100THB extra charge per night.
