Quiet and accessible

Customer service was an absolute terrible experience the staff at first said theybdo not rent to anyone local due to an bad experience from a previous tenant which i understand but why foes that apply to new coming customers. Either way just fron the poor customer service and rudeness i will not return to this establishment

water pressure was decent. Air conditioner worked. Didn't see a bug inside the room. Room was quiet.

I don't like writing bad reviews but I have to be honest. My flight was delayed so I ended up checking in after midnight. The website says 24-hour reception (and when I rang the bell a very sleepy man who looked like he just crawled out of bed came to the window) but there is a sign on the reception window that says "No check-in after midnight". We stood outside with lots of creepy bugs flying and crawling on the outside desk and window. Very much scared the crap out of me. He gave us the key and warned us to jiggle the door handle because it doesn't open easily. He was very correct, It took several minutes of each of us trying before we finally got the door open. When we entered the room none of the lights worked so I had to go back to the buggy reception to have the sleepy man come and get the lights on. Apparently, the lamps are finicky too. The room faintly smelled of smoke and was not what I would call clean. It was VERY run down with the paint chipping on every surface. The bathroom was the worst. I don't know why this is listed as the OYO Hotel when it is the Bluejay MOTEL. The sign says Bluejay and even the wifi is named Bluejay. There was no wifi information in the room so I had to wait till the next day before I could go to reception to ask about the wifi. When I went to reception I could hear a woman in a back room talking and even with me yelling "hello" no one came to the reception. I saw the wifi password posted on the wall so I just took a photo and tried to leave but there was an automatic lock or something because I couldn't get out. Luckily, some younger guy used a code on the outside and came in. He was surprised to see me and asked if I needed anything. I told him I needed the wifi but info but found it on the wall and I high-tailed it out! We saw the guy who checked us in several times over the 2 days and he never once smiled or was welcoming in any way.

The property and rooms were very old and outdated. The bathroom door had to be slammed to shut and yanked very hard to open. Nobody was ever at the office window. Not once was there ANY housekeeping and I had to borrow their vacuum to vacuum my own room. I was there for 4 nights of yuck.

It was not very clean got call asking if I left a gun under the bed a what! Yes a gun all rms non smoking non refundable deposit for room that was not as described only a tiny shower no baths tub rooms went to grab breakfast and the manager had been in my room while I was gone I am not happy at all about my stay I want a refund

The place needs to be renovated. Bathroom had broken tile and the caulking was a mess. The outside looks like it has been abandoned. I would say it is about. 20 min drive to Va Tech and easy to get into and out. If you are staying one night then it’s doable.

The place was overbooked. No notification that it was. Had notified that we would be late arriving. Had to find a new place at 11.30 pm

Think i rather sleep in my car then there again

Towels were dingy and stained, room smelled like mold, carpeting was soiled
