Gum Grove Chalets

Location was great. The property was as described.

Cockroaches and spiders were present.

Very clean but rustic and interesting. Beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful.

Everything was good. The only thing we found it was lacking were enough nice wine glasses. There were champagne flutes but nothing for red or white wine. Minor problem.

Lovely little cabins under the trees. Perfect for a few days break from the city. The facilities are fairly basic but everything we needed to cook a few meals with local ingredients and enjoy a couple of cosy evenings by the fire. Recommended.

Beautiful location set in amongst the gum trees. When you arrive there is a whiteboard at the entrance which shows a map of the Chalets and where they are located. They are interspersed among the trees. We only stayed one night and it was a wild windy night but we noticed a communal gathering area if you like to mingle. The Chalet we stayed in was called 'Tingle" and it was like a small cottage. It was full of antique and retro furniture, wooden floor boards, rugs and lovely paintings and a kitchen with everything you need. The bed was called a large double which I think is a queen size bed. Very comfy and warm.
