Cosy, quiet, dark at night and comfortable beds

The beds appeared to be clean. The TV worked and there were actually books and DVDs provided as advertised. The heater is a cute fireplace looking heater

Name not on the board at entrance as expected. Keys not in door as advised. Dishes and cutlery dirty. Fridge had broken parts and freezer solid with ice. Requested extra towels, that wasn't given. Owners rude and ignorant. Said hello multiple times and literally turned their backs to ignore us. We blocked in by the Owners guests on Saturday night, so we couldn't leave. Couch and beds old and uncomfortable. Pretty sure they haven't been updated in the 50 years it's been open. Definitely not worth the money we paid for it. And the Owners couldn't possibly have been ruder.

The only cons re. the property was the small grill/oven was dirty and even though we were about 100m from the road and shielded by some bushland, there was a curtain missing from the living area of the chalet which could be a concern for privacy at night. Apart from that, which can easily be remedied, the location and size was quite adequate and ideal for a short getaway from the hussle and bustle of city life.

Nicely decorated and although not perfect it had very good facilities ,like games and dvds for kids and a oven to bake in ,which my wife was very happy about;)and a very friendly dog who checked up on you.each morning and went as soon as you said go home very obidient.

The key to the sliding door was a bit hard to get in and out and to turn and lock was not so easy, And a small line to hang the wet swimming trunks up on ,but we bring our own .

Very cute cabin, the bathroom is humble but the shower head is great! A very comfortable stay

Loved how clean and simple it was. Great kitchen facilities and full size fridge! The communal bbq area with festoon lighting.

The chairs around the table outside were a little uncomfortable. But i am really stretching it here to find something bad to mention!
