So peaceful and quiet. Clean spacious accommodation with great pool and fabulous breakfast. The staff are a 10/10 for me. They couldn’t do enough for me. Made me feel so welcome and valued.

Beautiful and quiet. A hidden gem! The accomodation is spacious and so clean. Pool is amazing! My room wasn’t ready and I was given a free upgrade with a stunning outside bath tub. Very luxurious! Breakfasts are fabulous. Big shout out to all the staff who go out of their way to make you feel valued and special. I give this place a 10/10 on everything.

The road to arriving the hotel is so complicated, it’s impossible to go out for something, there is nothing around. When we arrived, it was almost 3pm, they didn’t get the room done yet. But alright. We talked with them and took a quick shower and go out. This is not the worst part. When we left, I left my two necklaces hanging in the wall of tue bathroom. Iam sure they were there. But the hotel didn’t help me to find them out. Don’t know why. That’s it. GOD IS WATCHING YOU GUYS.

A place to come to chill! Beautiful tranquil setting yet only 2km away from the beach/ restaurants. Pool was relaxing, quiet & had plenty of sun beds with shade. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor bathroom. Small request for a floor squeegy to mop water away after a shower. Michael was very helpful in helping organising trips and giving tips about Penida.

Nusa Penida roads are steep and uneven so if you’re not scooter experienced, you need a taxi. There is no grab so taxis are arranged via the property. The pre-arranged taxis always worked well but for the return we either had to specify a time (& hope we’d be finished) or WhatsApp the staff when ready. On some occasions this was 15 mins, others 45 minutes later. We did find it restrictive as we were totally reliant on them responding. Because of this reliance, I feel 1 person should be available to respond at any given time with phones on their person/ on loud.

Facilities were good. Pool was nice. Jhon was helpful.

When you charge at premium expensive rates for Nusa Penida, expectations are higher and many things didnt match the price charged: - location is far and you meed decent motorbike driving skills to reach - most staff didnt speak english - one day our room wasnt cleaned (there are only 5 ot 6 bungalows - this to me is not acceptable) Overall i dont think it matches the price charged.

the place is beautiful, really comfy and quite. perfect for relaxing and enjoying privacy

i booked the “best” room with bath, but the bath was not really useful, the water was cold and it was under some trees so not really clean

Being in this hotel is like coming home. An absolute hit! We have stayed in many accommodations and many of them have been very good, but this hotel takes it up a notch and is truly something special. This is mainly due to Michael, the operator of the system. He takes care of all guests in a very warm manner and has many helpful and individual tips for the area. Do yourself a favor and book this place when you are in Nusa Penida. Not only is it beautifully and magnificently located, but it is also run by absolutely friendly, professional and helpful people. More than just recommended.

- The room was very comfortable, with a good mattress. - The hotel, garden, and facilities were all lovely. - The staff was very responsive and attentive. - The pool was very nice, though it could benefit from having more sunbeds.

- The hotel is quite isolated, in the middle of nowhere. You need a scooter, but due to the poor road conditions, you become dependent on a driver for everything, which incurs additional charges. There's no alternative like a taxi or Grab available, so prices go up. - The restaurant and breakfast are somewhat basic. The level of detail and attentiveness that we've come to expect from similar hotels in Bali is missing. - The hotel is run by non-Balinese people who attempt to follow Bali's hospitality customs, but it's somewhat out of sync with the local standards. The European staff is friendly but very very present, more so than the Balinese staff. It feels more like a European countryside bed & breakfast than a true luxury retreat. We missed the usual discretion, kindness, and sophistication that Bali is known for.
