Howard Johnson by Wyndham Merrillville

The room we stayed in its self was ok. But the night staff was very rude and disnt want to communicate. The breakfast was NOT like it showed in the pictures, only cereal was available. She said the waffle maker waant working but my daughter turned it on and it worked great. She was just way to lazy and didnt want to get everything out for the waffles and she refused to make sausage. The pool could be open a bit longer. The hallways looked like they had not been vacuumed in forever. There was dirt and dry wall falling a part and all over the hallways. I mean i guess we got what we paid for. Ill never stay here again though.

I didn't like anything it was very disappointing.

Just on arrival, the hotel looks like a dump. I mean broken down, tall grass, broken windows, it looks abandoned. Nothing worked everything was out of service like the quest restrooms, the doors, and especially the pool. The reason i got the hotel and the pool was not in service. Wow. The hotel smells dirty and like weed, i mean down the halls. The staff are rude and disrespectful even to the point of them trying to come in my room while I was sleeping with my wife. Never again will I stay there our look for a hotel using these site. Very disappointed

Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner worked great!

Fridge and tv did not work.

Under construction couldn't go in the pool and they new we wanted to swim and there was drug use so I wasn't comfortable having my granddaughter there she's 10 and I'm on oxygen

Absolutely nothing

The building looked like it was basically abandoned due to construction which the hotel didn't mention at all not on this site or company site. I kept smelling the smell of cigarettes and my partner found a pack behind the bed. The shower/bath was disgusting from the shower curtain to the walls with hair on it like they didn't even clean it. Couldn't sleep in due to construction taking place. They also never mentions that hot breakfast was served on weekends until I asked the following morning and seen there wasn't any. The pool is also closed for construction which is the main reason I came here. And they charged my card 2 times for the same stay and then again for 72 dollars.
