Stayed 3 nights in Montepulcino. Hotel adjacent to the Piazza, pretty amazing to stay at the top of the hill in the historic part of the city. Room was beautiful with a nice view of the Tuscan countryside. We did a day trip to Montalcino and Siena but the best part was just wandering down the old streets of Montepulcino. The breakfast was an additional 10 Euros pps and included fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries. Ate at Romantico and Ristorante Ai 4 Venti, both were very nice. Pizza at Re Al Quadrato where they served wines from Trudie and Stings Farmhouse. We were hoping to stop buy there on our travels but didn’t make it so it was nice to at least taste the wine.

Everything was as expected.

Breakfast was fine, a lot of pastries and they didn’t communicate that it wasn’t included when we checked in as most European hotels are.

The beds and pillows were really hard, it hurt my back after the first night which made the second night really uncomfortable

Breakfast was wonderful, very quaint room and the staff was very welcoming.

There was no hair conditioner offered in the bathroom with the soaps and shampoo.
