Granville House

Was close to where I needed to be, spacious, comfy bed, outside space.

Did not seem like it had been cleaned since last guests, particularly the bathroom, kitchen and outdoor area, toiletries seemed cheap, also alot of noise could be heard from other guests. Sofa was very uncomfortable. I had booked flat A 2 months in advance because it had a better sofa and was informed the day prior I would be in flat B, at the very least they could have checked it had been cleaned.

The mattress in room with bath up stairs needs replacing and the shower floor plug needs unblocking because the floor tray feels quick

I read these glowing reviews and seriously wonder if they have actually stayed at 21B Granville Terrace. Two of the most uncomfortable nights I have spent in a long time. The bed, a cheap budget one, was like a hammock. The mattress is well past its use by date. The settee in the lounge was like sitting on a pile of bricks. Everything in the place was , I think, the cheapest item they could find. Netflix streaming didn’t work. The outside dining area was a dirty square of plastic grass that looked as though it had not been cleaned for a while.

Walking distance to city, on street free parking, beautifully clean and comfortable bed and linen. Great communication with hosts. Overall, a lovely spacious apartment with two en suites.

There were only a couple of minor issues which were reported to hosts and nothing that spoilt our stay. It's a great apartment.

The front door to all apartments slammed when others entered. This was right next to the bedroom. Shower head was just wedged into rail as there was no mount. I had to ask for a clothes airer and ironing board cover to be delivered as they didn't have one. (This was done promptly which was great) Cleaner needs to take time to wipe down the front of the kitchen cupboards. Please provide a fan as we were really hot.

We liked the price for the location. We liked that it was clean, spacious and comfortable.

We didn't like that from advertise it looked like we'll have direct access to the garden, but there were 3 apartments, and the one that we had didn't have direct access to the garden. For the future it would be better if we could see directly the name/number on the photos for each apartments (what facilities each have, and the options to choose directly the preferred apartment).

Lovely little one bed apartment. Seemed to have everything you might need for a short stay.

Little bit farther out of town than we'd hoped, 15-20 minute walk to town. I'm a larger lady- a standard double bed was a bit of a squeeze for us!
