Villa Nespola Penthouse

Beautiful modern and well appointed property with amazing views. Kristina the host was very easy to contact and sorted out airport transfers for us and was able to accommodate a later check out for us which was very much appreciated. The apartment was very well located with the centre of Cavtat being an easy few minutes walk away but beware ….. you have to negotiate a very steep hill back to the apartment on you return journey which is not for the faint hearted!!

Hadn’t realised the apartment was on the flight path so there were numerous aircraft flying quite low over the property on a daily basis. We arrived later on a Wednesday than expected due to a flight delay and found the local supermarket was closed on Thursday so we had no opportunity to buy provisions until Friday. Not sure if you are able to purchase a welcome pack ahead of your stay but it would be a good idea to offer this if it is not already offered or at least leave a bottle of water, milk and wine in the fridge for new arrivals. Would be nice to have the option of reclining lounger chairs on the balcony rather than ‘directors’ chairs which are not that comfortable as the back fabric is not stitched at the top and therefore keeps falling down so you feel the strip of fabric sticking in your back. There is no option to actually ‘lie out’ in the sun at the property so you have to generally go and buy a sunbeds and umbrellas at one of the outcrops which can be costly over the week (unless of course you buy a sun mattress and lie on one of the ‘free’ areas by the sea but this is not comfortable or suitable for the older generation.

We had everything we needed in the apprtment. The location was perfect and the sunset views from our balcony were breathtaking.

Perhaps the sofa in the living room could be upgraded

The view is incredible. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Easy to contact the owners and very quick responses. Arranged transport too and from airport which was one less worry for us to think about.

The outside chairs were quite uncomfortable. It says ‘toiletries provided’ but take shampoo and conditioner as only shower gel is provided. It is up a very steep hill, so not good for those with walking difficulties.

Lovely spacious apartment with amazing view over cavtat. Very clean and new and all rooms had en-suite bathroom. Easy walk into cavtat with lots of great restaurants

Beautiful view from balcony. Hosts very responsive. Loved the bathroom with huge rectangular sink and loads of counter and cupboard space for toiletries storage! Super close to grocery stores, restaurants and ferry/ tour boat access as well as bus to Dubrovnik

Periodically water was lukewarm but not hot for showers or dishes. Maybe hot water heater not enough for the 3 rental apartments?

Mattress was very thin.

The apartment was close to all amenities. Had an amazing view. Was spotless on arrival. Good facilities, fridge, freezer, washing machine etc. Loved the balcony, so lovely to sit there in a morning with my cup of tea.

There was nothing to not like. Only thing I could say was it would have been nice to have 2 pillows on the bed instead of 1.

It was close to town but not IN town so it was quiet. Beautiful view- well stocked comfortable unit.
