A good stay as aways. This time we used the cafe, delightful. This would have been excellent stay if my husband had been able to switch the bedside lamp on..

Wonderful relaxing break with everything you need in village, pub, takeaway, the local corner shop was so friendly and well stocked, Welcoming hotel staff very helpful with anything you ask even directions on days out! Added bonus within accommodation of lovely tea room serving meals and delicious cakes. Immaculately clean and comfy room so welcoming with tea tray and fresh milk and water in fridge. Really enjoyed lounge facilities and complimentary continental breakfast was very much appreciated. Richard really has thought of everything to make this a very special stay.

Lovely staff and spacious room, complimentary breakfast foods and facilities were great as was the spacious lounge area.

The mattress was very firm and and the pillows too and so didn’t get a good sleep unfortunately. Also no window in my room which was quite dark but I realise this was why price was good

The breakfast was adequate, the bed was extremely comfortable

Great value accommodation to access Dartmoor. Private, clean, and everything you'll need. Free parking within short walk.

The décor was pleasantly station-themed. The fridge and wine glasses in the room were a bonus.

No foot towel, 2 bulbs out in the bedroom lights, no manual (which had been promised). Instant coffee for breakfast.

Nice location, having a keyless entry was very helpful as we arrived a lot later than planned. The room was very tidy and nicely presented.

The mattress and pillows were a little too soft for my liking and the skylight covers let a fair amount of light through.

Room was clean and comfortable. Was in the area working and the dressing table was suitable for working at. Would use again if working in the area
