1. The view from the window is really nice. 2. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

1.The check-in was at a different location than the apartment, which was not very practical with all our luggage and made the process time-consuming. 2.There was only one bathroom for all the rooms, which made it difficult to manage showers and toilet use, especially in the evening and morning. 3.It was not possible to leave our luggage after checkout, which was quite inconvenient.

Lia Apartment Review - La Spezia Stay dates: July 14-19, 2025 Location & Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The apartment's location is excellent, right in the town center near the train station. Everything you need is within walking distance: supermarkets, restaurants, an Asian store, and easy access to buses for Porto Venere. The central location made exploring La Spezia and day trips to Cinque Terre very convenient. Room Amenities: - ✅ Air conditioning - much appreciated - ✅ Mini fridge (very small, fits about 1 day's worth of items) - ✅ Kettle for making coffee and tea, with cups and glasses provided - ✅ Complimentary soap and shampoo provided Accommodation & Facilities ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The shared bathroom arrangement worked well for our needs, as we only used it before heading out and after returning from day trips.

Lia Apartment Review - La Spezia Stay dates: July 14-19, 2025 Check-in Process ⭐⭐ The check-in process was inconvenient. Despite the apartment being near the station, we were required to check in at a different address. This meant dragging our luggage from the train station to the check-in location and then to the actual apartment, quite cumbersome when you're tired from traveling. Bathroom Issues: - Water leak between the bidet and toilet bowl - Broken silver tap inside the shower, which made showering uncomfortable and slippery when using soap and shampoo Housekeeping ⭐⭐ The housekeeping service was inconsistent: - ✅ Garbage was collected daily - ✅ Towels were changed twice during our 5-day stay - ❌ Bed sheets were never changed throughout our entire stay Note on sheet changing: We had keys to our bedroom, so if they had informed us of a specific day or time for housekeeping, we could have arranged to be out of the room, be awake in time or they could have simply left fresh bedsheets for us to change ourselves. Overall Experience While the location is unbeatable for exploring La Spezia and the surrounding areas, the property needs better maintenance and more consistent housekeeping standards. The check-in process could also be streamlined for guest convenience. Would I stay again? Possibly, because maintenance issues and check- in process improvements shouldn't be difficult for the owner to fix. These are simple adjustments but very valuable for clients.

we were under the impression that we would be able to cook, we weren’t. there is only one bathroom between 3/4 room which is not great… the fridge hadn’t been turned on in several days so stank when she turned it on for us, is also on a hill but that wasn’t a problem for us, just notable for people who struggle with accessibility
