Island Guesthouse and Motel

This is my go to place for visits to OBX - great accommodations, far enough from the crush of visitors to be cheaper but close enough for access to the beach after a few minutes of driving.

Walkable to coffee and ice cream! Rooms are small but clean and quiet! Wonderful staff! Enjoyed an evening with strangers - not for long - around the fire pit!

We had an awesome experience at the Island guesthouse it was bright and cheery and the office staff was so nice helped us find a pet friendly place to go with our puppy and helped us when I misplaced my phone upon leaving thanks a million we wholeheartededly recommend 😊❤️ love it

This property was very colorful and cheery on the outside, and the room inside had been fully renovated. It was very clean and welcoming. The property was a short drive to attractions in the area like the Lost Colony production.

What a gem of a place. The care and attention that the staff give you is over and beyond. Pristine rooms nicely decorated, great location, safe and friendly. Can’t say enough about this charming motel/guest house.

The staff were very friendly! The room was nice and the place is just cute. Our room only came with one night stand and we needed two as we both have cpap machines. All in all a very good experience.

Old style Motel with great updates. close to everything in Manteo. Parking was tight, but doable if erveryone played nice.

Nice and clean place. Good location to downtown. Little pricy for what ia delivers. Mattress was ok and we would like less light at night..... blocking light curtains would help.
