"Fine for a short stay in Whitby"

The location was good for our 1-night stay in Whitby. There are lots of shops and places to eat in the immediate vicinity. It is close to the harbor and the steps to the abbey (althogh we did not walk up.) The property was as advertised; reasonably comfortable and quiet. The diections from the host were helpful. It’s not fancy, but it met our needs.

Overall it was fine. But, access up to the room is via a steep stairs and the street in front is not particularly car friendly so anyone with luggage or mobility issues might want to look elsewhere. Parking on a Saturday evening was challenging.
