Aphrodite House

Wonderful, spacious apartment in old town Chania. Private, quiet, very comfortable. Two large bedrooms over 3 floors. Great amenities & kitchen, foods stocked for us by host. And Aphrodite, the host, was incredibly generous, helpful and available. One of the best stays I’ve ever had.

GPS instructions did not say how some of the streets in the area are closed to cars, so getting there took some creative driving. Note: apartment spread over 4 levels with STEEP stairs, so be ready for some up & downs

1 bathroom only on ground floor - but this is not a negative comment - its a wonderful original building in the old town and so to be expected

Great traditional apartment in a fantastic location. The apartment was close to everything you need to do or see in Chania and the bus stop was less than 10min walk away if venturing further afield. Very friendly and helpful hosts who very quick to answer any questions. The apartment was comfortable and had everything required for our visit. The beds were comfortable and the aircon worked really well. We highly recommend staying here if visiting Chania.

This wasn't an issue for us but the apartment has quite a few stairs which could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

Aphrodite’s House is perfectly located in Old Town, down a nice alleyway. It is great for self catering and enjoying drinks and dinner on the rooftop terrace. The raki and food was a lovely touch. Aphrodite was such a helpful host :)

Aphrodite studios was located in a fantastic location and the host , Aphrodite was very responsive and helpful with everything. From the moment we made our booking, Aphrodite responded to all our questions very promptly. The guest house was located in a fantastic location, about 50 m or a 30 second walk to the waters edge at the Venetian harbour. It is also located about a two minute walk to the new part of Chania town and the bus stop which is the meeting point for group tours to the best beaches. The apartment was very spacious and split over three levels. It was equipped with everything that you might need including washing machine, hairdryer, clothes hanger, and some food in the fridge. Had a large balcony good for hanging clothes.

well situated, a terrasse on the roof, beds were fine, basically everything was fine. host was hospitable and very friendly

The moment we arrived at Aphodite House it felt like home. there were little treats left for us and everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable were provided. It is a 3 story town house so there was a of bit of up & down but that is typical architecture for the old town Chania. They were easy to deal with and very helpful. The location was down a quaint little side street only a minutes walk to the beautiful harbor and bars and restaurants. We walked out our door and 4 steps across the street was a coffee & dessert shop. PERFECT!!! Also little restaurants a few step down the street as well. GREAT LOCATION!!! All in all we loved our stay at this property and would highly recommend to other travelers.
