La cabaña estaba muy bien, un porche acogedor.

Cuando llegamos estaban en obras, había montañas de cemento y maquinaria de trabajo en mitad de los espacios comunes. Delante de las cabañas hay un gran edificio. Eso no se corresponde con la descripción ni las fotos de Booking, que describe vistas al mar.

Gute Lage direkt am Strand. Geräumige Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und super nette Gastgeber. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Die chillige Atmosphäre und die freundlichen Menschen sind ein großes Plus. Die Cabanas sind frisch, sauber und geräumig. Ein sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältniss.

Die Lage war fantastisch

Durchs offene und ältere Bad kamen Ameisen rein. Zum Glück blieben sie im Bad und kamen nicht ins Zimmer mit dem Bett. Der Chef sprach gut englisch und die angestellten waren sehr freundlich, jedoch ihr englisch eingeschränkt.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und nah am Strand. Die gesamte Anlage ist wirklich schön gestaltet und lädt zum verweilen ein! Der Host ist sehr sehr nett und die ganze Familie steht voll hinter ihrer Unterkunft! Das Zimmer erfüllt die Erwartungen, wobei das Fliegennetz wirklich praktisch ist. Als wir ankamen hatte die Klimaanlage getropft und das Problem wurde in wenigen Stunden behoben. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

I really recommend staying here, it is the best place in Arugam bay! The manager Haleem is so lovely, welcoming and very helpful - he really goes above and beyond to make your stay amazing. Everyone who works there is so kind and you definitely feel very safe. It is in the perfect location, a quick walk from everything you want to be near (beach/restaurants/shops) but also peaceful and quiet. The room was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed, a nice clean bathroom, good AC and a cute porch/balcony to chill outside. The communal areas were great and the food was tasty too! His brother Mahir runs an amazing surf school, I got lessons with him which were so good - he was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He made it a super fun experience and was accommodating organising me going to try different spots. I left feeling so much more confident and super happy, it was the ultimate surf experience! Arugam bay is a great place if you do it right. I started out my stay at a hostel and with a different surf instructor, then switched over to Arne’s place and only organised things through them. I wish I had heard about them from the start! It turned around my time in Arugam bay and I left loving the place.
