Relaxed atmosphere

loved the relaxed atmosphere and the veranda to the apartment. The high beds were also really nice to hang out. The room and bathroom were spacious and really clean, that was great.

Me and another guest were sure we book rooms with AC but that wasn't the case. The huts for 2 people don't come with AC, only with fans. A mirror in the room and something to hang clothes properly would've been handy.

Lovely family run property. Very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the cabana. Views of the beach. Great porch with a day bed - perfect for reading a book. Slept with the door open facing the ocean. It’s rustic but that’s what we expected. Sheets clean and fresh. Mosquito net.

Arne’s Place in Arugam Bay is a fantastic spot for a beach getaway. The property is well-maintained with plenty of communal spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We stayed in a villa and loved it. The room was spacious, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and had air conditioning, which was great in the tropical climate. Being right on the beach, we enjoyed waking up and taking walks along the beautiful shore each morning. The on-site restaurant is convenient and offers a variety of tasty dishes, making it easy to dine without having to leave the property. What truly stands out about Arne’s Place is the staff. The family-run nature of the place adds a personal touch to the service. Haleem, the property manager, was particularly helpful and friendly, making sure all our needs were met. They do only accept cash payments, but they’re flexible, allowing you to pay at the end of your stay. They’re also very accommodating with any special requests, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Arne’s Place is a wonderful place to stay in Arugam Bay, combining comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere right on the beach. Highly recommended!

We stayed in one of the ‘villa’s’ and it was really spacious and clean. Airconditioning in both sleepingrooms. Outside it looks nice with a little restaurant and hammocks. The staff is really friendly and willing to help with everything. The location is also good, very close to the mainstreet and to the beach.

Perfect location, nice rooms. We had the villa for three people, it was comfortable and clean. Outside space is great for relaxing. Breakfast was awesome. Hosts were super friendly and helpful, we had our best time in Arugam Bay! :-)

Very comfortable room and amazing location and staff. Very good value for money as well. We took the villa room for four people and it was very good with the AC. Very comfortable beds.

The shower head wasn’t good at all, would be good for them to change it and other than that it was perfect.
