Citystay Living - Hinton House

As mentioned nearly all was good and comfy. Well maintained

Only because I was on second floor, managing suitcase at departure could have been somewhat challenging due to two flights of stairs

Not too far from rail station, some convenient shops/ restaurants nearby. Nice-sized apartment with good amenities available e.g. pots, pans, cutlery, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Fridge and cupboard stocked upon arrival with some usefult items such as bread, jam, juice. Cute little outdoor space. Spacious and good space to hang clothes and put things in drawers etc

Iron didn't seem to be working when tried it. Thankfully, wasn't needed. WiFi not reliable on the SMART TV, so couldn't really watch Netflix on the TV that was there. Toilet not working properly when arrived. Very weak flush the first time it was tried but then it stopped flushing completely!! Called someone to see to it, but engineer was only available to come out the next afternoon around midday. It did get fixed, but not ideal having a whole night and half a morning (the next day) without a working toilet.

Nice location (15min from station by foot, take-aways nearby), quiet environment, clean, well-equipped (even some groceries were provided).

The apartment had some minor architectural flaws (loud ventilation in bathroom, toilet flushes only minimally, opening of balcony door is not ideal, doors of neighbouring apartments are quite loud). As a foreigner, I would prefer text messages instead of calls to receive the keys since calls can be expensive and speech can be hard to understand when travelling. To use the streaming services on the TV, one's own login is still needed.

The staff was very responsive - Also gave us extra 2 hour extended check out . The place was perfectly equipped in all senses & to our taste. I stayed twice at Hinton House in May. Location suited me well.

No chopping board in the kitchen made it difficult to cook. I paid extra for parking space but my parking was most of the time blocked by some other car & the property managers couldn't do anything about it. I still had some space to park along the driveway so I managed with that. But they could have handled it better considering they charged me extra. Since everything else was all good I didn't make too much noise about it. Liam & Luca were both very courteous & responsive.

Location was close to the train station and right across the street from the bus stop.

We were to be met at the facility but no one came. After about 30 minutes, someone came who let us in as they were there to meet other people.
