Devan Guest House Canggu

Very clean and cosy place, firendly stuff members, relatively quiet neighbourhood Little far from Canggu, but still very good. Many kitchen stuff available, kitchen itself was clean and tidy too.

Poor sound isolation, roosters screaming at 2 am But if you go to sleep early that won`t be an issue(if you sleep deep enough)

The room was beautiful and big, the bed was comfortable, the building is very nice, in a quiet area, out of the traffic and the noise.

There was a permanent smell in the bathroom. Also, we booked and paid for 2 nights with breakfast included, but on the second morning there was nobody for breakfast. We had an organized tour, so we contacted the guest house through WhatsApp and through booking, but only at 10am (when we had to leave, and despite they told us that breakfast was from 8am to 10am) the lady managing the house came back with groceries bags, laundry bags, and her kid with an ice cream. The owner later replied to us on Booking apologising and saying that the lady had to go to a clinic and she thought that we would not ask for breakfast before 10am. So, long story short, we had to pay (again) for breakfast somewhere else.

Noisy and inconsiderate neighbouring guests in the wee hours of the morning and management was not around to do anything about it.
