Casa Teka - Boutique Hotel & Cenote

The private cenote was incredible. The air con was perfect. It kept the room cool without being noisy or blowy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large. The room was spacious. We appreciated the coffee machine.

Our bed was very small. We noticed other rooms had larger beds. The floorboards were a bit creaky but it was supposed to be rustic we think.

Beautiful property, love the cenote. The only issue is how loud it is because of nearby clubs. Hard to get sleep.

It was lovely and more quiet , close to all The nightlife and beaches but tucked away like a private oasis

Room was nice and staff were very helpful providing tips. Tania was amazing and accommodated our needs with a 10 month old baby including saving us a bed at the Delek beach club. Would happily stay here again.

Presidential suite was just beautiful. Exceptional location with natural Cenote pool just behind the house. Luxury in the middle of beautiful trees, intact nature, Quite close to the beach, far enough to avoid very vibrant beach noise. Most value to this stay was the staff, particularly front desk Lady Tania Reyes who made sure every detail of our comfort was attended - we had a person with recent leg fracture, still in wheelchair, Tania made sure she had easiest access everywhere, which is highly appreciated. We are thankful for all, including yoga class organized for us and strong yoga teacher David, hope to be back soon to Casa Teka.

It would be rude to find anything to complain about. Little things like - "how to find a beach" were promptly resolved with actual recommendations and reservations and free access to beach clubs that require expensive entre fee.

The property is very clean and the location is great Around you many beach clubs , restaurants , pharmacies and supermarket. The employees at the hotel they do their best to assist you and make your stay pleasant at the hotel

The place was spacious, clean and beautiful with wooden floors and jungle views. There was coffee available in the room and the common roof area where you watch the sunset. We went at a quiet time in November so it was nice to have a lot of quiet space for ourselves. The staff was great from check in to check out. I ate at the restaurant located on the property, Kappen Ha, and charged it to the room. They added an extra tip for themselves that I didn't agree to so the hotel offered it back to me, which was a kind gesture and I really appreciated it. The food there wasn't that great either but there are plenty of top notch restaurants all around to make up for it. There are the cutest boutiques on site and all around. A mini mart across the street so I didn't have to pay a high cost for the food and drinks in the mini bar.

I was disappointed about the cenote. It's not public so it's not guarded and no one is there to tell people to take a shower beforehand. Because of this, the cenote looked oily inside. The reason we booked it was to swim in the cenote but it looked gross and I opted not to. I'm sure it's fine for someone who doesn't care too much about these things. I read about the late night music reviews prior, which was indeed a problem but I came prepared and put my noise canceling headphones on and slept to my own music instead of the thumping. It was fine as I was exhausted. Anyone who is a light sleeper might have trouble.

Tania was a very good host, to this niche resort. She took care of our many needs, transportation needs, travel tips and questions. We don't speak Spanish, so she was my translator, even while talking to a nearby shop. We have never stayed in such a nice room, wooden decor. Kids loved it. The resort is nestled between beautiful trees, and has a nice cenotes on site. It's a great location, with hipster vibes. We are definitely coming back here.
