Freret Apartments near Streetcar & Tulane

The location was great. It was close to Loyola and Tulane with plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s an easy walk to Audubon Park or a streetcar ride away from the French Quarter. I love the old building and the high ceilings and tall windows. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony watching the street activity below.

I notified the manager of a few things that need attention. A thorough cleaning would be good. Also, street noise might be an issue for light sleepers. It didn’t really bother us. It took longer to fall asleep and I was awakened some during the night. There is a grocery store next door that gets early morning deliveries so there is some noise. You can also hear cars driving by at all hours of the night.

Close to good food and a grocery store

The location and surrounding businesses were so great - coffee, bagels, sweets, pizza, a very nice market, and MORE were all within walking distance. The apartment was clean, comfortable, super safe, and very functional for living and working. The AC unit did an amazing job cooling down the entire apartment in the middle of August, which is no small task! Everything you could need is right there, and the hosts were incredibly responsive. I didn't have a single issue during my 4 days there, but I know I could get in touch quickly if I needed any help. I very much enjoyed my stay.

The mattress was fine, but I think it could stand to be replaced (however, it's worth noting that I'm an extremely picky sleeper). The bathroom could use some extra hooks or towel racks to hang towels and washcloths. But these are minor MINOR items that did not impact my stay at all - simply suggestions to the host to bring the apartment above and beyond!

Pictures are not what property looks like. All furnishing and carpets appear to be salvaged. Dirty/stained carpets, bed covers and upholstery. Couch cushions do not stay on the couch properly. We sat on top of towels and blankets to feel clean while here!

We had a water leak the first night and the owner graciously upgraded us to a bigger room in order to do the repairs

Great location.Easy access to get breakfast and lunch.

Pillow,bed,broken mirror in the bathroom . Stained chair in the room. Dirty salt with brown rice on it.Bedsheets were terrible.
