Gourmet breakfast. Absolutely everything. Asian, european, japanese. Supurb. Will definitely stay again. The location is breath taking, with skiing from the door. Even if the weather is bad, there's loads of trees to be had.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the location is perfect for backcountry skiing in the winter. The onsen is wonderful.

The washing water at the onsen was quite cold. Made it a bit unpleasant washing in winter before getting in the onsen1

Breakfast was a good mix of Japanese and Western foods, and included both coffee and tea. The onsen with rust-colored waters are well worth using, especially the outdoor baths. This is the highest elevation ryokan and onsen in Hokkaido, so it's a unique experience. The dinner also exceeded our expectations.

The men's shared bathroom only has one sitting toilet. My partner had to wait awhile to use the mens toilet in the morning. Women don't have this issue, since there were much more men than women staying at the hotel, at least when we were there.

The staff are excellent. The food was also excellent.

We are here early December, not many people here, and it is fantastic. For nature and hiking lovers this is the best place. We traveled Hokkaido to the far north, but here is the most snow and the food and onsen are beautiful as the mountains. Will rent snow shoes today and go up the mountain. The house, which has the spirit of an alp- mountain hut- is old and built around the Onsen, which is all natural water and giant stones, grown by moss inside and outside of the pools
