Very cool boutique hotel, mixed space, room was very large and newly refurbished, beds were comfortable, cooktop, dishwasher, induction stove, combo microwave and convection oven Nice rooftop terrace, building contains a movie theater, bowling alley and coffee shop, very contemporary and classy! 9h, and it was quiet! Front desk was a little short staffed. Great location, can walk to bars, restaurants and U of I!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Chauncey hotel. The room was very spacious annd comfortable and very clean! It had a very nice view. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

On a road trip back to Canada and found this Tapestry Hilton property along the way! We’ve stayed at many Hiltons and the special boutique styled ones are always unique and interesting! The building houses a variety of spaces, including Hotel Chauncey. The Fix coffee shop, FilmScene movie theatre, a bowling alley/ arcade/ eatery called SpareMe, other retail, corporate and office spaces, and condominiums. Great stay ! Good bed, linens and shower! Our King room had an interesting little kitchenette and eating area. Would work well for longer business stays. They had at least one comfortable chair and actual blackout curtains. TV was a bit small for a suite this size but not a deal breaker. Parking was additional $15 charge but was handy and covered. We would highly recommend this hotel and location. We walked a couple of blocks for dinner at the Iowa Chop House. Also Recommend!
