Hotel Chauncey Iowa City, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Our room was huge, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. We had some confusion about parking but eventually got that straightened out. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was lovely. Only question is why would you put a handicap accessible room as far away as possible from the elevator?

It's a great place. The rooms are really spacious and extremely quiet. The gym is really excellent too, except only one treadmill works. The bowling alley, arcade or movie theater make great things to do when you don't want to leave the hotel.

Great! Would stay again. Rooms are HUGE.

Great room, large and well appointed. Good view from balcony. Chairs had bent legs, balcony door did not lock, bathroom shower slick, extremely slick. Went to the bowling alley as its the only option for food in the building. Food was expensive and disappointing. Good margarita but small and they don't allow you to take one to your room. I got coffee and an espresso shot at The Fix.. nothing fancy or impressive. I would have loved for them to have more options and sime pastries or even bananas, or something. Price of room was great but you also pay 15 dollars a day to park, which makes the daily cost not as equitable. I would stay again as it is close to the hospital, my reason for visiting, but I would skip the bowling alley and the Fix.
