Had a good, heavy breakfast served right on time. The place is quiet, green, and very clean, perfect for music composers, relaxing getaways, or romantic couples. The lake/river view is simply breathtaking.

Being close to the water, insects can be many during the breeding season, and the glass windows tend to confuse birds, causing them to knock against them. If you’re not a fan of nature, this might feel a bit distracting but for me, as a nature lover, I found the experience enjoyable and unique.

The serenity, hygiene and ambience was amazing and the the staff were caring

I paid in the local currency but their exchange rate was fixed and very exorbitant, notwithstanding that they mention on booking.com that they apply the market rates. To put it to context, the market rate on 20.08.2025 was between Ugx3520 and Ugx.3550 for 1 USD. However, they insisted that they have a fixed rate of Ugx. 3800 for 1 USD. I therefore recommend that these payment terms are included on booking.com or otherwise specified to the visitor ahead of the trip to enable the visitors make informed decisions.

I didn’t like the breakfast

They were very helpful as I travelled with my cat and they supported me fully in this.

The ordered dinner was lot of food, however, the combination was a bit funny and it was a bit salty. I am not sure, if it was prepared in the venue or it came from somewhere else. I asked for vegetables and got a lot of fresh veges, which was very good.
